Our most popular systems are manufactured by Carrier, the nation's leader in heating and cooling systems. The most common indoor weather system is a forced air system, which depends on air ducts to carry the conditioned air throughout the house. A typckal forced-air system consists of a furnace and a central air conditioner using electricity and natural gas — or an all-electric heat pump and fan coil. Both systems offer exceptional comfort and energy savings for you.
For maximum comfort, efficiency, and performance, we may recommend some additional components. For instance, air quality is greatly improved with an air cleaner to remove odors and pollutants, a humidifier to correct dry air, and a ventilator to bring fresh air into your home. Carrier Products Are Energy Efficient
Efficiency ratings are like gas mileage — the higher the rating, the more efficient the product is. AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) measures heating fuel usage. Carrier's Infinity 96 gas furnace receives up to 96.6% AFUE which means it's extremely energy efficient which saves you money. The chart at right also shows that the Infinity uses much less electricity to run than an ordinary furnace giving you further savings.
There are also efficiency ratings for other heating and cooling products. HSPF (Heating Seasonal Performance Factor) measures the heating mode of heat pumps. Most new units rate from 7.0 to 9.4. The Infinity 17 heat pump receives up to 9.5 HSPF.

SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) mesures air conditioning cooling. All new models are required to have a t least a 13.0 SEER rating. The Infinity 21 air conditioner receives up to 21.0 SEER. If the efficiency of your old system is only a 10.0 SEER, the Infinity 21 with SEER 21.0 can save you up to $52 for every $100 you current spend to cool your home.

Radiant Floor Heating Systems
Since hot air rises, forced air heating systems deposit hot air at ceiling levels while temperatures at the floor areas remain low. Usually the system is run continuously in order to achieve floor level warmth. By contrast, radiant floor heating systems emit warmth evenly from from the floor. This provides warmer temperatures at floor level and lower temperatures at head level.
Physiological studies have shown that people are comfortable when their feet are warm but they find excessive heat near their faces unpleasant. This is how radiant floor heating systems by Efficient Heating Technology allow you to remain comfortable at 4–6 degrees lower temperatures than usual which results in 25–40% energy savings.
